How to extract pages from a PDF

Questions
What is the difference between extracting and splitting?
Extracting gives you one file containing the pages you chose. Splitting gives you several files, cut at the boundaries you set.
Can I pick pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. Select pages 2, 9 and 40 and you get a three-page PDF in that document order.
Do links and text stay selectable?
Text stays text and internal links stay links when both ends of the link are in your selection. A link pointing at a page you left behind is dropped.
Where is my file uploaded to?
Nowhere. The work runs in a Web Worker inside this tab. Open your browser’s Network panel while you use the tool — no request carries your file.
