Questions
Which formats does this accept?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP work in every current browser. TIFF depends on the browser: Safari reads it, Chrome and Firefox do not, and where yours cannot the file is named and refused rather than added as a blank page.
What happens to an animated GIF?
The first frame is used. A PDF page is a still image, and silently picking a middle frame would be worse than saying so.
Does a multi-page TIFF become multiple pages?
No. Where the browser reads TIFF at all it hands over the first image only, so that is the page you get. Chrome and Firefox have no TIFF decoder and refuse the file by name; convert it to PNG first.
Can I mix portrait and landscape?
Yes. Every page takes the shape of its own picture, so the document can change orientation page by page.
